# October 2026

> October 2026 Corelayer release notes: file investigations to Jira and Linear, connect Confluence, and connect GitLab.com or self-hosted GitLab.

**October 15, 2026**

## File investigations to Jira and Linear

You can now turn a Corelayer issue into a linked ticket. Choose **File to Jira** or **File to Linear** from the issue's actions menu, pick a destination, and Corelayer creates a ticket with the investigation title, summary, root cause, next steps, and a link back to Corelayer.

* **Jira** connects to Jira Cloud with organization-managed Atlassian service-account OAuth credentials. The filing form shows the required fields for the selected project and issue type.
* **Linear** connects with OAuth. Select a team and, optionally, a project.

Both integrations appear under **Integrations → Ticketing**. A group with both connected can file to either provider and keep a link to each.

## Confluence integration

Connect a Confluence Cloud site using Atlassian service-account OAuth credentials, so the connection doesn't depend on an employee's personal API token. You can test, rotate, and disconnect credentials from the integration's **Settings** tab.

This release connects the site and manages its credentials. It doesn't import pages or add Confluence content to investigations yet.

## GitLab.com and self-hosted GitLab

Connect GitLab.com or your own GitLab instance with OAuth, then choose the projects Corelayer can use for code context. For self-hosted GitLab, enter your instance URL and the Application ID and secret from an OAuth application on that instance.

Optional settings let Corelayer index your code and open merge requests. Both are off by default.
