Prerequisites
- A Sentry account with projects you want to monitor
- Admin or Owner permissions in your Sentry organization
Step-by-Step Setup
1. Navigate to Integrations
In your Corelayer dashboard, go to the Integrations page.2. Add Sentry Integration
Click the Add Integration button and select Sentry from the list of available integrations. Click Connect to Sentry.3. Authorize Sentry Connection
You’ll be redirected to Sentry’s OAuth authorization page. Click Accept & Install to grant Corelayer access to your Sentry organizations, projects, issues, and events.4. Verify Connection
Once configured, you should see your Sentry integration listed as Connected in your integrations dashboard.5. Configure Projects
Select which Sentry projects you want Corelayer to monitor:- Check the boxes next to the projects you want to include
- Click Update Selection
6. Add Sentry projects to your service maps
When configuring your Corelayer Service Maps, and the services within them, select which Sentry projects are relevant to which services.What Corelayer Can Do With Sentry
Once connected, Corelayer will:- Listen for any new Sentry issues
- When an issue is created in a Sentry project you’ve added to a Service Map, an AI agent will pull in relevant context and start debugging
- The agent will summarize the root cause of the issue and suggest and remediation steps
Managing Your Integration
Disconnecting
To disconnect your Sentry integration:- Navigate to Settings > Integrations
- Find “Corelayer” and click Uninstall
- Confirm the uninstallation
- Corelayer will remove your Sentry data and no longer monitor your Sentry projects
Troubleshooting
Integration Not Working?
- Verify your Sentry organization is accessible
- Ensure you have the correct permissions in Sentry
- Check that your selected projects are active and receiving errors
- Try to uninstall from Sentry, then add then integration again from the Corelayer Integrations page
